The Riding Academy is open to riders of all ages and levels of experience. Our Riding Academy offers an extensive education program in all aspects of riding and horsemanship to all levels of riders.
Our goal is to develop well-rounded and well educated horse persons who have the skills to not only ride well but to be knowledgeable and capable of caring for horses well.
Our riders learn how to groom effectively and how to properly handle and tack horses in a safe manner right from their very first lesson.
We have programs for first time riders of any age including a pre-school program for a parent and child to participate in together.
We also have more advanced programs for more experienced riders including a horse show team that shows at the local level. What ever your goals may be, we have a program for you!
In 2009, the North Gate Pony Club Riding Center was added to our many opportunities offered to our riders! Please see the Riding Center Page for details.
Lessons are held Monday through Saturday with both group and private lessons available. Groups are made up of no more than four riders at the same skill level.
If you are interested in joining the Riding Academy, the first step is to call or email to schedule an evaluation lesson. Here we will assess your skills and discuss your goals with you to best determine your lesson options.
